Connect Schools Academy Trust recognises the contribution it can and must make to protecting, supporting, and promoting the wellbeing of all children. Their welfare is of paramount importance.  All our staff are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and recognise that children who are abused or neglected may find it difficult to develop a sense of self-worth and to view the world in a positive way.

The Trust has an over aching safeguarding statement and has adopted a common safeguarding policy that has been supplemented by the individual schools to ensure the policy reflects their own local procedures and practices.
